Myerchin UK has been the sole UK importer of the superb Myerchin range of Rigging Knives for the past nine years.  Based in Dorchester, Dorset, we aim to provide an efficient and knowledgeable service both to sailors and to other specialist knife users.

In partnership with TAD Electronics we also produce and supply the highly reliable ‘Monitor’ and ‘Nautilarm’ Boat Monitoring and alarm systems. This family of products has been out there now for several years with hundreds of inland and sea going craft monitored and protected by this technology.

Online Shopping

Our online shopping site allows you to browse and buy at leisure.  We can accept all major credit cards and use Paypal to provide you with the reassurance of a high security shopping experience.  All our web site prices include UK VAT.

Alternatively we can accept credit card orders by telephone or orders by post (cheque with order).

Delivery

We offer a fast overnight delivery service for stock items.  A fast turnaround is also be offered for bespoke items, generally two weeks or less. 

Our delivery charge is a very reasonable £9.21 inc VAT irrespective of item quantity and weight.  This covers delivery anywhere within England, Wales and Southern Scotland - please contact us before ordering  for international delivery charges.

Returns

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from Myerchin UK.  If, for any reason you are not, please contact us within 14 days of receipt to arrange return of the items for a full no-quibble refund.   Please note that we cannot accept the return of custom-made or custom-embroidered items unless they are actually faulty.

Knive Policy - Under 18's will NOT be served.

Please note in accordance with The criminal Justice Act 1988, as amended by the Offensive Weapons Act 1996 and the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 it is an offence to supply a knife to persons under the age of 18. We take our responsibilities in this matter very seriously. In order to ensure that the purchaser is over 18 checks will be made to verify the age of an individual purchasing a knife. These can normally be carried out without the need to contact the individual but where this is not possible the individual may be contacted and asked to provide proof of age related to the delivery address. In the event of an individual under the age of 18 attempting to purchase a knife from us, you may lose your entire purchase price, or a £5 administration fee will be charged. By completing the check out transaction a purchaser agrees that this deduction will be taken prior to any refund given. In addition information on the attempted transaction may be shared with the Police.
